Best NFL Player: Jim Irsay

Why? Because Jim Irsay (owner of the Indianapolis Colts) was the first member of the NFL to publicly comment on Rush Limbaugh's desire to become an NFL team owner himself. "I myself couldn't even think of voting for him" said Irsay. That says it all. Thanks Mr. Irsay.
And BOO to the St. Louis Rams for even talking to the racist hypocrite lying arrogant turd Limbaugh in the first place.

Best Mystery

Mystery Girl. Have you run into this girl at any of the clubs around Indianapolis? She wont tell you her real name. She calls herself Mystery Girl. She loves Blues and Jazz. She left this photo of herself for me at a Jazz show. Who are you Mystery Girl?

Roots Band: 19clark25

19clark25. Originality lives! Even the band name is different. This band reminds me of something Levon Helm might put together if he was a little younger and a Hoosier. I've seen these guys at Locals Only in East Broad Ripple and I could of stayed all night if my girlfriend of the moment hadn't decided to act like a....anyhoo, I highly recommend this act for anyone wanting to catch a band that's on their way up.

Ad Agency/Production House

King Media Services. The Best. Just ask anyone who has worked with Al Stone on any of a myriad of projects, whether they be television commercials, books, radio shows, graphic designs, jingles, theatre productions, full length LP's and CD's, voice overs, web broadcasts, and just about anything! Well, you just can't find a better "go to guy" than Al Stone. His web site doesn't even mention many of the famous and talented artists he has worked with in his long career. Here's a few that I know of...
Sandi Patti, The Wright Brothers Band, Yank Rachell, and that guy who wore the psychedelic outfit at Woodstock, John Sebastian.

Mug Shot 2009 Henry Lee Summer

Hands down it's gotta be this one of Indy's own rock star boogie boy Hank Swartz, better known as Henry Lee Summer. Pretty damn scary. A lesson for any would be Meth users for sure. We wish Henry the best. He's a great talent.

Sammy Terry Late Night Ghoul

Best Local TV Show Ever

Sammy Terry. If you were fortunate enough to see Sammy Terry's Nightmare Theatre while it was on during the 1960's and 70's, than you know this nomination for best local TV show is right on. Who could forget that eerie laugh that scared so many of us kids who dared to stay up late night to see Sammy emerge from his coffin and present his horror films. I loved watching those Hammer films with Christopher Lee running about in a fog drenched English forest. Just way cool stuff. Too bad it's off the air. Bring back Sammy!
