Bar South Side: The Gaslight Inn

The Gaslight Inn (2280 S. Meridian St. 782-1250)
Rumored to be one of John Dillingers' hangouts, and just a couple of miles south of downtown, the Gaslight is one of Indy's best places to see live music because of the intimate atmosphere in the bar ( and they don't charge cover). The room seats about 45 or 50 so the service is good and the wait staff has always been friendy. It's a cool old two story house and if you believe in ghosts you might want to watch some of the unexplained happenings at the bar late at night.
